Academy of Silesia is a modern, non-public university established in 2003 (formerly known as the University of Technology in Katowice). Its main campus is located in Katowice, with additional branches in Zabrze (Faculty of Medical Sciences named after Prof. Z. Religa) and Rybnik.
The Academy offers a wide range of study programs in technical, artistic, medical, and social sciences. The Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Applied Arts includes programs such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design (fashion and jewelry), Graphics, and Computer Science. The Faculty of Medical Sciences offers Medical Studies, Nursing, Emergency Medicine, and Physiotherapy. The Faculty of Social and Human Sciences provides programs in Management.
Students can choose full-time, part-time, or postgraduate studies, as well as various professional training courses.
